My family recently celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday. My sister and I hosted an afternoon party for her with over 50 friends and family members present. The event was a great success thanks in part to the wonderful appetizer recipes I found on Pinterest to serve at the party.
The offering I put together had something for everyone, from sweet to savory, vegan to full-on meat. It was the perfect combination to please all guests.
#1 Favorite Appetizer – Easy Bruschetta Cheese
This treat was by far the “hit” of the party. It tasted wonderful and was so easy to make! I assembled the cheese ball the day before and rolled it in the panko topping before serving. Savory, creamy, cheesy, spicy…yummy goodness. The best cheese ball ever! LOL – Guests were pulling me aside to ask for the recipe.

#2 Easy Marinated Olives & Cheese Ring
This was my favorite appetizer. It was fun and easy to assemble and delicious! Marinated cheese is surprisingly good! Another bonus, my finished product looked exactly like the picture on the website. This recipe was easy to replicate.
One word of caution: If your serving dish doesn’t have edge, be very careful when moving. I ended up wearing quite a bit of the marinate. (Luckily I hadn’t changed for the party yet.)

#3 Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip
I love spinach artichoke dip! And this was the perfect recipe for this party. I was able to start the recipe in my slow cooker in the morning and it was ready to serve in the afternoon. Dip tasted great and the easy preparation makes this recipe a big winner in my book!

#4 Rosemary Pecans
I can’t say enough good things about Rosemary Pecans. This is a simply divine treat! The nuts are slightly sweet, but mostly savory and spicy. So, so good. This was also an economical dish for me to put together. I picked up the pecans for a nice price at Costco and I grow rosemary in my garden. Also, I made this dish the day before the party, so all I needed to do was put them in a pretty serving bowl at party time.
I found this recipe at Real Simple.
#5 Basil, Bacon, Peach Baked Brie
I don’t think you can go wrong with baked brie. It just good. Warm cheese, bread, bacon, what else is there to say?
This treat was super easy to put together. In fact, this another appetizer that I assembled the day before the party, then baked right before the party started.

#6 Vegetable Tray – Pepper Cups for Hummus
I served veggies and offered humus, instead of ranch dip for dipping, as the menu was pretty dairy rich up until this point.
#7 Sugar Cookie Truffles
Truffles are pretty easy to make, can be made days in advance, and they taste good. That’s three stars in my book! I made my sugar cookie truffles in 3 colors and they looked beautiful on the table.

#8 Lemonade Prosecco Punch
What’s a party without a little alcoholic punch? My guests loved this drink, I had to keep making more! The punch is very pretty to look at too. My mom loved the punch so much, she made it again for a 4th of July party.
